Acceptable use policy

Last updated: November 4, 2026 · Version 2026-11-04

This is a translation. If there is any difference, the Spanish version prevails.

The basic rule

Send only messages you would send yourself, one by one, to people who expect to hear from you. ConnectYourGPT is for your personal and professional correspondence, not for advertising or mass sending. The same goes for the statuses your AI publishes.

What is prohibited

  • Spam and mass sending: unsolicited advertising or promotions, chain messages, bought or copied lists, the same message to many people, or writing en masse to people who don’t have you saved.
  • Mass sending without review: setting up your own system (another AI, a script, an automation) that sends messages en masse without a person reviewing them. Letting your AI send without asking you (for example, by always allowing it) is your choice, under your responsibility (terms, section 4).
  • Getting around the limits: several accounts, rotating numbers or any trick to send more than allowed.
  • Harassment, threats or intimidation, including debt collection with pressure or outside business hours.
  • Deception: fraud, impersonating another person or company, phishing, data theft or false messages.
  • Illegal content, hate speech, non-consensual sexual content and any content that involves minors sexually.
  • Using other people’s numbers or accounts without their holder’s permission, or selling or transferring access to the service.
  • Attacking the service: trying to get in where you shouldn’t, overloading it or copying its software.
  • Breaking the rules of WhatsApp or of your AI provider.

Your contacts

You need their permission to message them. If someone asks you not to write to them, mark them as “do not message” (ask your AI) and don’t write to them through here again.

The automatic limits

These are today’s and may change. In its status tool your AI sees those for messages per day, per hour, new people and the same person, and whether there is a pause. “New people” are those who aren’t in the contacts we read from your phone (every 6 hours) and whom you have never written to through here from that number.

LimitWarm-up period: first 72 hours after linkingValue50 messages a day and 5 new people a day, with the same per-hour and same-person limits as afterwards
LimitAfter the warm-up periodValue150 messages a day, 40 an hour, 15 new people a day and 5 messages an hour to the same person
LimitSame textValueTo more than 5 people in 24 hours it is refused: personalize it
LimitPaceValueBetween 8 and 20 seconds between messages, and a break of 1 to 3 minutes every 10
LimitWhatsApp refusalsValue5 sends to numbers WhatsApp couldn’t confirm in 24 hours, whether or not they’re in your address book: 24 hours without writing to new people. 3 messages refused in a row: everything paused for 1 hour
LimitTemporary WhatsApp blockValueSending paused until it ends, plus 1 hour
LimitStatusesValue4 in 24 hours (2 in the warm-up period), one at a time, with 30 minutes between them, and the same text or photo isn’t repeated within 24 hours; in the free trial, each status counts as 1 of the 20 messages
LimitPhotos and PDFsValueOnly to people in your phone’s contacts or who already received through here a message from this number that WhatsApp accepted; the same file, to at most 5 people in 24 hours; and they count as a message in the limits and in the free trial

If you break this policy

We can refuse sends, pause your account or close it (terms, section 11), and alert the authorities if there is a crime.
